Whether you’re looking for a romantic date night out with your significant other this Valentine’s Day, or if you are avoiding the holiday entirely and plan on staying cozy on the couch, we’ve got you covered!

We’ve put together our favorite romantic and fun things to do in Los Angeles with your significant other, best friend, or family.

Explore Art Museums

Los Angeles County Museum of Art: On February 14, they have a free public exhibit of remarkable pre-Christian historic pieces from Rome that depict love and loss.

The Getty Center: After you've enjoyed its awesome collection of artworks, the architecture and magnificent garden, don't forget to book your romantic dinner at the museum's 'The Restaurant.'

The Griffith Observatory: You'd love the view of Downtown LA up to Santa Monica from this hilltop observatory at night. Stargazing could spark more romance into you Valentine's date.

Spend Quality Time Outdoors

If you and your significant other both love strolling scenic spots, then a trip to Huntington Gardens is a perfect activity for you both!

Weather permitting, you may also enjoy the outdoors with a picnic or a hike at Franklin Canyon State Park or at any of the four hiking destinations at the Santa Monica Mountains.

Watch Your Favorite Team

One of our favorite pastimes in Los Angeles is - you guessed it - cheering for our local sports teams! Take your partner or friends on a date night to watch the Los Angeles Kings as they take on the Vancouver Canucks in a Valentine's Day hockey match at the Staples Center.

Dine at LA's Best Restaurants

What better time than Valentine's Day should you and your significant other (or family!) go out and enjoy the best culinary offerings than on this special occasion!

We recommend Lucques in West Hollywood, the Southeast Asian restaurant Lukshon in Culver CityCrossroads Kitchen for vegan-friendly menu, or head Downtown to dine at Le Petit Paris.
